A great majority of poker players in search of a great rakeback deal look for "Dealt Rakeback" deals. With a Dealt Rakeback deal you do not have to contribute any money to the pot to receive rakeback. All that needs to happen is for you to be dealt into the hand. If cards are dealt to you then you receive rakeback.
A Dealt Rakeback deal is perfect for a tight poker player. So, if you are the type of player that is very selective about which hands you play then a Dealt Rakeback deal is perfect for you.
With a Dealt Rakeback deal the entire rake is divided up amongst all of the players that are dealt into the hand whether they put any chips into the pot or not. Also, not all of the players seated at the table have signed up for rakeback but that doesn’t matter when your rakeback is being calculated. Again, it's divided evenly amongst all of the players. Your rakeback per hand is smaller because of this but you get credited with rakeback for all of the hands you are dealt in which is why it is a great deal for the tight player that doesn't throw chips into the pot very often.

For our Dealt Rakeback example we are playing in a $1/$2 No Limit Holdem cash game at Full Tilt Poker with 6 players seated at the table. Full Tilt Poker takes $.05 for every $1 in the pot as rake, or 5% of the pot. The maximum amount of rake that they will take in this game is $3.
Even if the pot grew to $80 the total rake would be $3. The $3 of rake would be divided by 6 (the number of players dealt into the hand) -> $3 / 6 = $0.50. Your portion of rake that you are assigned is $.50. Since you are signed up with Full Tilt Poker for their rakeback deal of 27% your rakeback is calculated as $.50 x .27 = .135 which is rounded to .14. So you would get $.14 of your rake back.
You will get this even if you folded pre-flop without betting or calling a single bet. It may not seem like much but let look at it a bit more making the assumption of getting $.14 of rakeback for each hand. If you are dealt into:
100 hands x $.14 you will receive $14 of rakeback.500 hands x $.14 you will receive $70 of rakeback. 1000 hands x $.14 you will receive $140 of rakeback.
